Electric Wall Heaters
An electric wall heater is a heater that can be mounted to a wall for the purpose of providing heat for an individual room. These heaters are perfect for additions since it is easier to install a wall heater than to incorporate the existing heating system into the new room(s).
Some models also include an air conditioner, which makes this the ideal set-up for a room that has separate heating/cooling needs from the rest of the house.
The electric heaters have resistance coils that warm the air as it moves across them. Some models come equipped with fans to circulate the warm air around the room. Most operate on 120 volts or 240 volts and need to have their own circuit.
