Expanding a Bathroom
Q: My bathroom is very small. I have no place to store anything. The toilet is too close to the vanity. The tub takes up most of the space. Is there any way to expand the bathroom?
A: There are two ways to expand a room: take up part of an adjoining room or push an external wall out to create an addition. However, additions are usually more expensive because of all the structural considerations that go along with pushing exterior walls out.
I suggest you have some general contractors come look at your home and discuss your options and possible costs.
