Central Vacuum Systems
Central vacuum systems can be installed in virtually any new or older home -- ranch, split-level, two-storey, split foyer or other -- with relative ease and no damage to walls. Installation usually takes just a few hours. Any design or style of home can accomodate a central cleaning system. They can be installed in new construction homes before the insulation and drywall are installed and it's less expensive to install during construction.
There are kits that homeowners or contractors can install or they can be installed by the vacuum system representative.
Central vacuum systems provide cleaner indoor air by removing particles without stirring up microscopic dust particles and re-emitting them into the interior of the home. The vacuum receptacle is vented outside of the living space keeping the air inside free of the pollutants.
To keep the warranty active, brushes inside motor unit need to be professionally checked every five years or so and possibly replaced.
